The second film, Zeitgeist: Addendum, attempts to locate the root causes of this pervasive social corruption, while offering a solution. This solution is not based not on politics, morality, laws, or any other “establishment” notions of human affairs, but rather on a modern, non-superstitous based understanding of what we are and how we align with nature, to which we are a part. The work advocates a new social system which is updated to present day knowledge, highly influenced by the life long work of Jacque Fresco and The Venus Project.

Current economy got you beat? Why not store yourselves in a warehouse until everything outside sorts itself out.

I looked round. A father was Sellotaping his son into an enormous Tupperware crate. Another mother had wrapped herself in newspaper and masking tape, leaving a hand free to seal up a cardboard box from the inside. I saw an older brother push a younger brother into a poster tube. A girl was wrapping her hamster up in red paper. A boy was individually wrapping his socks and Top Trumps cards. A family of 26 were rolling a dice to see who would get to go in the crate that hadn’t originally been used to carry vegetables. And all of them were smiling.

Formula One reinvents itself by changing its rules.

The aim is not now to drive the fastest but the most fuel-efficiently. Points are awarded to drivers who stay in second gear for most of the way round and keep under 40mph. Lewis Hamilton keeps doing well until the last lap, where he develops engine trouble and moves ahead of everyone else at 100mph. Kimi Räikkönen and Fernando Alonso car share. Jensen Button wins the whole championship by deciding to walk.

The M25 is asphalted and pedestrianised. An enterprising stall owner wins the licence to set up a 30-mile-long stall selling crepes.

An interesting read on the dark underbelly of Facebook, and the scary politics of the people behind it. Intriguing privacy policy they have. One for all the bitter friendless Facebook users… “bah who needs internet friends anyway… mumble”. Read Article.
