Prague: Canon 1DMKIV from Philip Bloom on Vimeo.
A jaw-droppingly beautiful short movie of Prague on a cold winters day. All taken with a Canon 1D Mark IV DSLR camera. Sadly it’s very unlikely that I’m going to get one of these for Christmas.
Lovely prints to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks.

I guess this is what you get when you cross cute Sylvanian Families with the horrors of war.

Hell yeah. This looks to be a promising tough old bastard Clint Eastwood spectacular.
Impressive short using GI Joe action figures.
What would have happened if Hansel and Gretel were forever trapped in the dark woods?
There’s nothing I enjoy more than a dark, and twisted fantasy film. And the Koreans seen to do it so well, with lashings of tasteful shots and exquisite moody lighting. Hansel and Grettle (헨젤과 그레텔 / Hen-jel-gwa Geu-re-tel) is one of these movies, and a top-notch one it is to. A short synopsis is:
Whilst on his way to reunite with his long-lost mother, Eun Soo runs into an accident and loses consciousness. Waking up in the middle of a dark forest, he meets a red-cloaked girl who guides him to her eerie-looking house where he meets her strange family. Though it’s quite obvious that there are no contacts with the outside world, the house is somehow always filled with toys, sweets, and other unimaginable goodies. Eun Soo soon learns there is no way out of the forest and a few days later, he notices that the children are bringing in more grown-ups from the woods.
Sword wielding chick in underwear, meets pixelated space invaders, meets Tron CGI, meets 80′s cartoons, meets awesome electronic soundtrack and a bewildering storyline. Whats not to like.
